How it works

Three steps from the coin in your hand to a record in your pocket.

Hold the coin

Each registered coin comes in a sealed holder carrying its chip, its QR code and its serial number.

Tap it

Hold your iPhone to the holder. The chip writes a fresh one-time code on every tap and the app checks it. A real chip passes; a copied one can't.

Make it yours

Enter the code from the sealed card in the box. The coin is registered to you. Pass it to a buyer when you sell it, or flag it if it's ever stolen.

The coin

Real gold or silver you hold, in a sealed holder with a chip and a serial number like E79-7K3M-Q9TD.

The record

Who registered it, who has owned it, and whether it's been reported stolen. Sealed in a public registry twice a day, so anyone can check it hasn't been rewritten, without having to trust us.

The app

Tap to check a coin, claim it, transfer it, see what your coins are worth at today's price, and get an alert when gold or silver crosses a price you choose.

What a tap proves, and what it doesn't

It proves the tap came from the chip sealed onto that coin, and shows the coin's registered owner and history.
It doesn't test the metal. A chip can't measure gold; the coin itself is what you're buying.
The record isn't a title document. It's Element 79/47's registry of who claimed the coin, kept so you can check it independently.
